Yeonhee Kim

Yeonhee, born in Seoul, Korea, began playing the violin at age 2. She achieved notable successes in various competitions, including winning prizes in the Korean Herald Competition and the Seoul Baroque Chamber Ensemble Competition. After immigrating to Australia, she studied at the Sydney Conservatorium High School and participated in the Ku-Ring-Gai Philharmonic Orchestra NSW Concerto Competition.

Yeonhee graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and later completed her Master’s degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She was chosen as the leader of the Adelphi String Quartet, which performed at the Chamber Music Festival in Verona, Italy.

Yeonhee joined Opera Australia in 2006 as a casual violin tutti member, showcasing her talent and contributing to the orchestra’s performances
