Viola lessons in Chatswood
Explore the viola’s lower register and learn to read alto clef.
What you can work on
Start with a melody on the C and G strings. Listen to how the tone changes as you vary bow speed and weight, then follow the same phrase in alto clef. If you are moving from violin, use a familiar scale to get comfortable with the wider finger spacing.
