Educational Background & Qualifications

Peggy Hong graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music , earning a Bachelor's degree with a major in piano. She also holds performance diplomas from ABRSM and AMEB , reflecting a strong foundation in classical piano performance and musicianship.

Performance & Accompaniment Achievements

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Peggy was awarded Second Place in the Shanghai and Hong Kong Youth Piano Competition , demonstrating her high level of performance skill.

She has extensive experience as an accompanist, having worked for many years with:

• The Australian Chinese Community Choir (ACC Choir)

• The Key Signature Choir

Notably, under her accompaniment, the ACC Choir won First Prize at the 4th International Choral Music Festival .

Teaching Experience & Approach

With over 20 years of teaching and accompaniment experience , Peggy has taught students of all ages — from young children to adults and seniors.

Her teaching specializes in preparing students for AMEB and ABRSM piano and theory examinations , and she actively encourages them to participate in public piano competitions to gain performance experience. Many of her students have achieved outstanding results under her guidance.
